began with a brief heat spike, then continued with mostly moderate and steady
temperatures. Favorable, consistent summer temperatures allowed a relaxed
harvest of grapes with beautiful balance, a ripe and juicy fruit profile and mature
tannins. Marking our 30th anniversary, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon tempts the
nose with complex aromas of plum and cassis tempered by hints of sage and sweet
tobacco. On the palate, it is round and flavorful, with ripe boysenberry and savory
herb flavors leading to chocolatey notes on the finish. This is an age-worthy wine
that allows pure focus on a single varietal from five select vineyard blocks.
