The picture-perfect 2018 growing season allowed full ripening and tannin development in this Cabernet Sauvignon, producing a seductive wine with complex and focused fruit flavors. Both rich and concentrated, yet fresh and supple, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon shows notes of cocoa, cedar and sweet plum, with ripe, black fruit flavors and Cabernet Franc adding a savory note midpalate. The tannins are pleasantly suede-like and the finish hints at raspberry black tea. The 2018 Cabernet is a luscious wine, the perfect expression of Oakville Ranch fruit.

From Antonio Galloni: The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is gorgeous. Opulent and creamy, with superb persistence, the 2018 packs a serious punch. Inky dark fruit, mocha, spice, menthol and licorice all build in the glass. The 2018 is deep and opulent to the core, but more than that, it captures all the personality of this site in Eastern Oakville. Bright floral accents liven up the finish nicely. I would give the tannins a few years to soften.  94 Points
